In a development that could significantly alter the political dynamics of Bauchi State, Alhaji Usman Mahmood Kuletu, a prominent figure in Dass Local Government Area, has officially defected from the All Progressives Congress (APC) to the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP). The declaration was made during a vibrant ceremony held at Dott Ward, attended by party stalwarts, community leaders, and enthusiastic supporters.
Alhaji Kuletu, known for his grassroots mobilization and political influence, attributed his decision to the visible developmental strides achieved under the PDP-led administration in Bauchi State. He commended Governor Bala Muhammad for his visionary leadership and praised Hon. Mohammad Jibo, Chairman of Dass Local Government, and Hon. Babangida Manaja, Member Representing Dass Constituency in the Bauchi State House of Assembly, for their dedication to inclusive governance and community empowerment.
“I am joining the PDP not just as a supporter, but as a contributor to the party’s mission of delivering sustainable development to our people,” Kuletu stated. “The PDP has demonstrated that it is a party of action, and I am proud to be part of this movement.”
