The 33 Artillery Brigade in Bauchi has commenced a training program for junior and middle-level officers of the 3 Division Operations Planning Cadre 2025. The training aims to enhance their skills and proficiency in joint and single service operation planning processes.
Themed "Leadership Capacity Building: A Panacea for Operational Effectiveness," the event drew participants from the Nigerian Army, Nigerian Air Force, and other security agencies. Major General Eyitayo Oyinlola, General Officer Commanding 3 Division Nigeria Army and Commander Operation SAFE HAVEN, represented by Major General AH Ahmed, Commandant Nigerian Army Armoured School, stated that the training is designed to improve inter-agency cooperation and understanding to foster unity of effort in joint operations for national security.
The training aligns with the Command Philosophy of the Chief of Army Staff, Lieutenant General OO Oluyede, which seeks to consolidate the transformation of the Nigerian Army into a well-motivated and combat-ready force. Participants were advised to utilize the opportunity to gain knowledge from experienced resource persons during the four-day training.
Bauchi State Governor, Senator Bala Mohammed, represented by Commissioner for Internal Security and Home Affairs, Hon Ibrahim Gambo Galadima, appreciated the GOC for hosting the event in Bauchi and assured his administration's continued support to security agencies in the state.
The opening ceremony included the commissioning of the newly remodeled Quarter Guard and the renovated Squash Court, both carried out by Commander 33 Artillery Brigade, Brigadier General UG Simon. Souvenirs were also presented to dignitaries in attendance.
