SAZU Lauds Governor Bala Mohammed for Restoring Electricity at Yuli Campus

Sa'adu Zungur University (SAZU) has expressed profound gratitude to the Executive Governor of Bauchi State, Senator Bala Abdulkadir Mohammed, for restoring electricity supply to its Yuli Campus. The campus had been experiencing a prolonged blackout due to the felling of critical electricity poles, which damaged the power infrastructure. 

This incident resulted in a setback to some academic and administrative activities, affecting the entire university community.

The Vice-Chancellor, Professor Fatimah Tahir, commended the Governor for his swift response to their plight, highlighting his dedication to education and the well-being of the institution. 

"With power restored, we are filled with optimism that normal and enhanced academic activities will resume seamlessly," she said. Professor Tahir noted that the Governor's intervention is a testament to his commitment to the growth and development of the university.

The restoration of electricity supply is seen as a significant boost to the university's academic and administrative activities. With the power restored, students and staff can now focus on their academic pursuits without the hindrance of frequent power outages. 

The university's research and community service initiatives are also expected to benefit from the restored electricity supply.

Professor Tahir reiterated the university's commitment to supporting the Governor's vision for quality and accessible education in Bauchi State. The university management pledged to leverage the restored infrastructure to achieve its core mandates of teaching, research, and community service. 

"We are committed to working with the Governor to ensure that our institution continues to thrive and produce graduates who are equipped to make a positive impact in society," the VC said.
